The Kalamazoo Conference Center, originally served as a Holiday Inn and featured a popular bowling alley known as Holiday Lanes. Over time, the property fell into disuse and became an eyesore, standing vacant and in need of major repairs. In a $4 million redevelopment effort, Kalamazoo Hotel Group LLC acquired the site and undertook a project to breathe new life into the neglected building.
Kalamazoo Hotel Group transformed the Holiday Inn to a Premium brand Delta by Marriott location offering 182 well-appointed guest rooms. The renovation transformed the former bowling alley into a vibrant conference center. This revitalization project not only restored the building’s functionality but also addressed a critical need for conference space in the area, marking a new chapter in the site’s history.
